There’s a new offering available in select DMAs across the U.S. billing itself as a “100% Mexican TV Channel.”
There’s good reason for this. Under the direction of CEO Victor Herrera, Spanish-language broadcast TV network Nuestra Vision “has been
expertly crafted to cater to a primary target
audience of Mexicans and Mexican-Americans,
representing over 36 million U.S. residents, as well as the broader Hispanic segment population — serving, as a whole, the largest ethnic minority living in the United States.”
Having the support and direct backing from parent company América Móvil helps.
This allows Nuestra Vision to offer what it says is “one of the largest and most significant libraries of Mexican movies, spanning over 2,300 titles, news sister brands UNO TV, sports news Claro Sports, as live sports and special events.
“Over the course of our first year, Nuestra Vision broadcasted an array of Mexican movie hits, spanning from the Golden Mexican Movie Era to recent productions,” Herrera said. “Additionally, we featured a plethora of shows and interviews with top-tier Mexican and International talent and celebrities. Our news programming, through our sister brand UNO TV is currently one of the top 3 in Mexico thanks to our coverage, and reach. In the sports field, we featured over 1000 hours of sports programming, including live games such as men and women soccer tournaments, football games, boxing, wrestling, baseball, and MMA, combined with general sports content produced live.”
Since January, the network has featured the Mexican Soccer League Tournament providing exclusive access to the Futbol de Ascenso del Torneo de Clausura 2019.
